Lidval lived in a five-room apartment ¹ 23 on the third floor of the house. Two apartments occupied by the family of General A. N. Kuropatkin. In the 1920s, in the house settled labor school of national minority and two orphanages. At various times, at the house lived the artist Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin (in 1909), People's Artist of the M. St. George (from 1915 to 1930), an outstanding physical chemist Academician Terenin (from 1927 to 1933 year), composer and music writer V. M. Bogdanov-Berezovsky (in 1930).
